Robertson & Co - Surveillance, Claim Validation & Fraud Investigation Specialists

PERSONAL INJURY SURVEILLANCE

We believe that our role is to secure for our clients the very best evidence available by fair and honest means.

Commitment & Effort:

Invariably, that means devoting a sufficiency of time to the case. Also, by means of effective tactical planning and a flexible workforce, choosing the best times or days on which to carry out the surveillance. This varies from case to case. It matters not to us whether our agents observe on a weekday, a weekend or on a public holiday, during the day, evening or through the night – the cost to our clients is the same but the results achieved by adopting an individual, planned and flexible approach in respect of each case are almost always much better.

The traditional approach to personal injury, sickness or pension abuse surveillance has been to carry out two days of surveillance for a fixed fee.  Robertson & Co challenges that convention.  We believe that an achievable result is directly influenced by the amount of time and effort put in to a case.  To that end, using as many agents as are necessary, we will carry out as many extra days as we deem appropriate to secure the best result for our clients.  We will do that within the same fixed fee that our competitors charge for just two days work.  We guarantee to never come back and ask for our fee to be increased, just because we have suffered a loss, or a subject has not been seen to leave their address.

The cost to our clients is the same, irrespective of where the claimant lives, the number of operatives, vehicles, or the amount and type of kit, which need to be deployed.  We do not charge for mileage, report preparation, accommodation, or any other hidden extras.

As a tangible example of our determination to deliver excellence and savings to our clients, we commit to undertake an average minimum of not less than 24 hours (or 3 days) of actual surveillance on a claimant, within the agreed fixed fee, for the duration of a contract.  Statistically, this improves the chances of a client obtaining good evidence by 50%.  It also reduces a client's hourly surveillance spend by a third.

During a surveillance supplier performance review by a leading insurer, we were found to have saved them an average of £30,900 per case.  Our closest rival came in at around £8,000.  We are convinced that this difference in performance is as a direct result of the planned approach and extra effort that we devote to our cases.

Urgent Cases:

We guarantee to put agents on the ground in urgent cases within 4 hours.  There is no extra fee for this level of response.

Innovation:

We pride ourselves on the fact that we are an innovative and lawfully audacious company, able to devise and apply solutions to new problems.

As an example, we are able to provide a solution to validate or disprove the often significant care element of an injury claim.  For the same fixed fee as a normal, two day period of conventional surveillance, we are able to provide round the clock surveillance of attendances at most addresses for a 7 day period.

Controlling Legislation:

We believe that our knowledge and understanding of legislation and stated cases that impact the art of surveillance is second to none.  Our ability to translate these complex issues into simple language is widely recognised.  We regularly present to our clients on these matters on a non-cost, value added basis.
