Robertson &
Co provides a claim facilitation service as a value
added offering for insurers to provide to their High Net
Worth clients in the event of a claim being made.
In this challenging and competitive arena, some of our
insurer clients choose to offer an enhanced level of
service merited either by the status of their clients or
the value of the claim presented. Where they feel that
their client would benefit from the close involvement of
a skilled and experienced ex-senior CID officer, chosen
for their excellent inter-personal skills, Robertson &
Co are able to provide members of staff to act as
evidence gatherers in an endeavour to re-unite the
client with items of sentimental value, and to act as
the link between the insurer, client and police.
Our experienced investigators are invariably able to
identify lines of enquiry that over-stretched and/or
inexperienced police officers may not have considered.
In a recent case this led to the recovery of £300,000
worth of stolen diamonds and the arrest of the culprit
in Amsterdam. The thief was subsequently convicted as a
result of the evidence obtained by Robertson & Co,
imprisoned and deported at the end of her sentence.
By working closely with the police the Robertson & Co
Claim Facilitators are able to ensure that all lines of
enquiry are followed to a conclusion and by acting as
the link that High Net Worth clients are regularly kept
informed of the status of the investigation and claim,
thus removing from them some of the stress at what will
be a difficult time.
