COMPANY
Robertson & Co is a family run business. Our reputation
means a great deal to us. Ethically obtained results are
more important to us than our fees. Calls or letters of
appreciation from our clients are what motivate us.
We
believe that as in any form of human endeavour, the
result achieved in an investigation is directly
proportionate to the effort put it. There is only one
way to investigate – thoroughly.
We
are able to provide coverage throughout Great Britain
and Eire, through a staff of 51 surveillance agents and
56 investigators, whose cases are managed by an
experienced blend of 18 ex-senior CID officers and
insurance personnel.
Realising the need for strict compliance, transparency
and accountability, particularly in FSA regulated
industries, we welcome compliance verification audits at
any time, whether to our offices or to accompany any
member of our staff on the ground.
All our staff are selected, thoroughly vetted and
trained by us irrespective of their background or
previous experience. Employed by us under contract and
working to a Code of Ethics and Professional Standards,
they receive regular continuation training. An
indication as to the standard we set is the fact that
for every ten surveillance operatives we trial, we
retain only one.
Our operatives are employed by us to gather evidence. They
do not compile reports. Every case we undertake is
allocated to one of our 18 in-house Investigation
Managers, under whose personal and direct supervision
the case is investigated. It is our managers who, for reasons
of consistency of quality, style and detail, compile our
reports. We also have our own in-house
lawyer.
